Facilities Supervisor/Office Manager
Salary: £24k - £28k
Location: Brighton
Hours: Mon-Thu 08:45 to 17:15 (16:15 on Fridays)
Do you want to work for a friendly and highly professional organisation that offers a great working environment?
This role is looking for a highly organised individual that will be responsible for the daily running of a professional office environment where there is a strong focus on administrative activities and problem solving. The role requires you to liaise with managing agents, building landlord, contractors and other service providers.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with building strong relationships and key stakeholders
- Forward planning for office resources, proactive involvement in events, initiatives and activities
- Upholding cleanliness standards in the office
- Involvement with new starter set up and inductions, across the business
- Creating and maintaining facilities team policies
- Ensuring continuous supplies of consumables (stationary, office equipment and food)
- Involvement in waste management
- Raising awareness of green initiatives
- Managing offsite booking and event management
- Providing cover for receptionist when required
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven office management experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of working in reception/customer service environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic level of Health and safety standards
- Ability to be able to set up and trouble shoot IT and audio-visual equipment
- Natural problem solver with a "can do" attitude
- Ideally have management experience but it is not a necessity
