A medium sized organisation specialising in support of adults with autism and other associated learning disabilities is currently recruiting for a support worker to join their team in a small residential unit in the Shoreham area.

You will be working as a support worker with young adults who have Learning Disabilities. Your role would be to support individual with their day to day lives and needs. You will also have the opportunity to take individuals out on day trips and fun actvities! Your role would be to ensure that these young adults live, fulfilled, happy and independent lives!

You will be working in a new home which has only opened this year, with a brand new team of support workers and a team leader, due to the size of the organisationa nd the number of units in the local are the oppourtunities for advancement are very broad with excellent training oppourtunities.

Previous experience working with functioning learning disabilities is essential but can be in any environment where you have communicatred with adults with complex needs.

NVQ 3 would be useful but by no means essential as full training will be given, plus there will be an oppourtunity to study for this qualification.

If you have experience working with people with Learning disabilities, live near the Shoreham area and feel like you can make a difference to people`s lives, then this is the job for you!!

You need to be dedicated to helping individuals, work well within a team. Preferably a driver.

The salary comes with excellent additions such as £65 for every sleep in! You will also get £10 an hour if you choose you want to do Over-time. Considerably increasing your earning potential.
