Available Homes Officer
You will manage the process of managing the organizations homes as they become available until they are successfully let. The key objective is to minimise the time a property remains empty by ensuring it is let as quickly as possible while providing a good quality service to our customers
Main activities
*Accountable for the timely and appropriate letting of properties to minimise the loss of rental income to the association.
*Manage the end of tenancy process once a customer notice is received or a property has been
*Repossessed, and attempt to retain tenants that have maintained their tenancy well.
*Liaise with Neighbourhood teams, Repairs team, contractors and Development to ensure that
*Properties are ready to let, and are let, quickly and within target timescales.
Essential criteria
*Social housing letting experience.
*Knowledge of Choice Based Lettings systems, Allocations, and the use of Local Lettings Plans.
*Experience of and ability to thrive in, a busy working environment to deliver challenging performance targets.
