Our client, a UK leading waste and energy consultancy are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing business based in Chichester, West Sussex. They offer a wide range of energy saving and waste related services to clients across the UK.
Business Development Manager Position Overview
This BDM role is predominantly phone based although you will have the opportunity to attend exhibitions across the UK and work from home. This is a sales role, with a huge emphasis on customer care and communication, within a well-established B2C/B2B office, who have a bespoke CRM to enable full management of the sales process, marketing tools and administration required for a successful sales cycle. This is a very technically driven global industry and you will be advising customers on the most efficient way to manage recycle and transform their waste products and convert into fuel and renewable energy.
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
Be a good listener and communicator.
Be confident in closing orders.
Be Enthusiastic and positive
Be comfortable liaising with company directors and management of large global organisation
Understand the general sales cycle from lead, demonstration, features and benefits and closing sales
Follow a set sales process but be confident to use your own communication techniquesTo be successful in this BDM role, you will need a professional approach in dealing with clients and customers, and be a fantastic communicator. You will need great administration skills as well as sales techniques and be customer focused. This opportunity is suitable for an established BDM, sales advisor, account manager or sales representative looking for the next step in your sales career.
Business Development Manager Position Remuneration
This is a full time, permanent BDM role based in Chichester, West Sussex.
Basic salary of £23,000 - £25,000, OTE is £50,000
28 days holiday
