An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurse to join the multidisciplinary Community Respiratory Service (CRS) in Brighton and Hove as a part time Band 6 Respiratory Nurse Specialist. Applicants should have a specialist interest in working with respiratory patients and have experience in this area.

The aim of this multidisciplinary team is to support patients in the community with a diagnosed respiratory condition, to help them manage their condition on a day to day basis and to help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions from a respiratory perspective. As well as providing home visits to patients, the successful applicant will supervise junior colleagues, participate in pulmonary rehabilitation, and support the Clinical Team Lead and other colleagues in the development of this ever-evolving service.

Applicants must be NMC registered and able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of working with respiratory patients.

It is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work, as the successful applicant will be required to undertake home visits.
