Children, Youth & Family Missioner Parish of Sutton with Seaford, East Sussex (url removed) £30,000 per annum Full time (38 hours per week).  Fixed Term Contract for 3 years. An exciting opportunity has become available within the Parish of Sutton with Seaford for a Children, Youth and Family Missioner to join us in leading our work with families, children and young people to help them grow with God.  This challenging and pioneering role involves working within the two churches in the parish, delivering on our children, youth and family strategic vision which will bring families and young people into a relationship with God and connect with our parish. To successfully fulfil this role, applicants should have proven experience working with all ages developing and nurturing faith within the community.  You should have good knowledge of the bible and theology and be experienced in delivering pastoral care.  The ability to use your own initiative, work flexibly and communicate easily with all walks of life are essential to this role.  The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of safeguarding and good IT and administrative skills.  A qualification in children and/or youth ministry and mission would be an asset as would experience of working and leading volunteers in this line of work.
