  • Stonewall Diversity Champions, and Disability Confident Employer - Level 2

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. This post offers rotational experience at sites throughout the coastal area of West Sussex, including Worthing, Chichester and Bognor Regis.

The rotations include:
  • Musculoskeletal Outpatients: assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal disorders, providing gym rehabilitation, delivering exercise classes. The large MSK teams are able to provide support from experienced clinicians, including our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners.
  • Community Neurological Rehabilitation: working as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients with neurological conditions in their homes and within other community settings.
  • Community Responsive Services: supporting patients with short-term packages of rehabilitation within their own homes. The role involves caring for patients with a wide range of conditions, and aims to prevent hospital admission and restore functional independence.
  • Inpatient Rehabilitation: based in a local community hospital, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver rehabilitation programmes and facilitate discharge. The role involves working under the direction of other Physiotherapists within the team but also provides the responsibility for delegating work to Rehabilitation Technicians.

The role necessitates travelling across West Sussex, so a car driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes is required. Some flexible working will also be necessary, including possible weekend and evening hours.

If you are interested in joining a service that is compassionate, inspiring and motivated to deliver excellence throughout the community then look no further.

This post may close earlier than the published closing date if sufficient applications are received.
