Due to continuing growth of the business, this prominent asbestos company with a large presence in the South East region is actively seeking the services of an enthusiastic, self-driven and commercially focused Asbestos Business Development/Sales Manager in and around the Crawley area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating sales and business from new and existing clients. They must also hold strong managerial skills and a good technical knowledge of the asbestos industry. Consideration will be given to applications from Woking, Dartford, Slough, London and the surrounding areas.


The applicant must come from strong sales, business development, account management and technical background.

Have a proven track record generating new business through the selling of asbestos services to new and existing clients.

Previously have worked within a similar role within the asbestos industry.

Must have good communication, organisational, leadership and client facing skills

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the asbestos industry.


Key Role:

Selling the company asbestos services and winning new commercial contracts.
Pricing and tendering.

Developing and monitoring business forecasts and budgets.

Managing the sales activities of the company.

Maintaining and building a good rapport with new clients/customers.

Attending and conducting meetings and discussing financial position of the business, etc.

Achieving target and goals.

Developing and training the sales staff.

Dealing with any queries with regards to sales, etc.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures.

Developing plans for new clients and suppliers - contracts or services.


Overall, the successful post-holder will be astute and have the ability to take the business to the next level.
