A Sales Administrator vacancy is available for a friendly team player to join Hunters’ client, a cutting-edge medium sized technology company. A sense of humour and positive outlook is essential. The Company is committed to providing a high-quality service to customers. The Sales Office is a key point of communication with customers and the role of the Sales Administrator is to take responsibility for an allocated group of customers, thereby enhancing the levels of service to those customers.

We are looking for:

Excellent customer service skills/abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail along with a commitment to quality.

Good administrative skills, ideally in a fast paced environment.

Proficient IT user, with good skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

An ability to work independently and as a team.

A positive individual with a ‘can do’ results driven approach and attitude.

Experience in a sales office environment.

Commercial awareness.

Experience of working with an MRP/ERP system within a manufacturing environment.

Experience of using a Customer Relationship Management or equivalent database/system.

Key Responsibilities

To provide first class Sales Administration service for customers at all times.

To take responsibility for a designated group of customers, establishing an excellent working relationship in order to assist sales development with those customers.

To process customers’ orders promptly and efficiently - target 4 hours for key customers. Contract review and data entry of sales orders.

To monitor the status of customer orders and notify them when changes may occur e.g. dispatch date amendments.

To monitor customer product usage to promote more effective purchasing patterns, schedules and value added product/services.

To follow up customer quotations sent to maximise order conversion.

To provide support to external sales team for new and ongoing projects.
