IT TECHNICIAN
Full time post (37 hours per week)
Permanent Contract
Salary £18,780 per annum pro rota
An opportunity has arisen for a new member of staff to join a busy and friendly IT department. We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who works well within a team. You will provide first line IT support to all users of the college IT facilities ensuring systems are maintained and supported to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining and keeping documentation up to date with regard to hardware, operating systems and applications, and providing support for users.
Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a small team are essential. In addition, you should also have knowledge of Windows and other Microsoft software products, and familiarity with web technologies.
