UPS Field Service Engineer required. Our client is an established supplier of UPS systems and Battery sets to a variety of customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Installation Engineer to carry out maintenance, upgrades and installations on UPS systems and Battery sets across the UK.

The successful engineer will have previous experience in a Service Engineer role in Electrical Installation. You will have excellent electrical fault finding and rectifications skills, good commercial awareness and interpersonal skills to provide top level customer service and technical support.

UPS Field Service Engineer Position Overview

(Offshore)

• Conductance / Internal Resistance / Discharge testing of battery systems
• Routine maintenance of UPS systems including old/obsolete equipment
• Ups installation, commission, fault finding and breakdown response
• Compilation of reports
• Recommendation on asset placement

(Onshore)

• Commission and maintenance of industrial battery and UPS systems
• UPS installation, Commissioning, Fault finding and Breakdown response
• Compilation of reports
• Recommendation on asset placement

UPS Field Service Engineer Position Requirements

• Qualified to HNC level or higher
• 17th or 18th Edition Qualification
• Offshore Experience would be advantageous
• Familiarity with UPS and BS7671 IEE wiring regulations would be advantageous however training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective team member
• Diligent and conscientious attitude
• Open to a significant a significant amount of travel possibly including overnight stop overs
• Flexibility in regards to short notice call out

UPS Field Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• £35,000 - £42,000 Dependent on Experience
• Bonus payments for short notice call outs
• Fixed mobilisation fee to cover transport to heliport
• 25 days Holiday plus Public holidays
• Pension
