Marketing Manager
Salary - £27K to £33K + Bonus!!

Halo recruitment are proud to be welcome such a dynamic new client of ours looking for a full time Marketing Manager to join their team in Chichester.
Hours of work - 9am to 5:30pm (with an hour for lunch) Monday to Friday
Responsibilities;
* Manage media relations
* Marketing for a wide range of clients on their database
* Developing critical working relationships with editors and journalists
* Providing strategic advice
* Managing a wide range of marketing projects whilst ensuring set objectives are always met on time
* Being responsible for all aspects of their clients’ projects from strategy and planning, through implementation and successful execution, to reporting and analysis
The right candidate?
Their ideal candidate will come loaded with expertise and a working knowledge of media relations. Must be able to confidently discuss and advise their clients on a variety of topics, including the best marketing strategies, which will differ from client to client; how to effectively allocate marketing budgets and suggest tactics to implement marketing plans. They will liaise with Directors or senior Account Managers, when additional specific expertise is required. They must have full responsibility for coordinating all activities on their accounts. This may include liaising with the creative design team, briefing writers on content required to ensure all actions / projects are completed to standard by their respective deadlines, and that all admin tasks, particularly reporting and billing, are completed effectively and efficiently. They must also explore opportunities with clients to grow their business.
Successful candidates;
* Have a broad understanding across all marketing disciplines, with the ability to acknowledge the trade-offs required.
* Strong background in at least one marketing discipline (media relations, advertising, direct marketing)
* Strong numeric, literate and PC skills
* Proven ability to manage a workload and meet deadlines
* Organised
* Highly effective communicator and negotiator, (particularly on the phones) able to persuade clients, presenting opinions and facts
