Red Flag Recruitment are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join a School in Brighton.
We are looking for someone highly organised and who will provide support in the kitchen and keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.
Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant consist of but not limited to:
- Assist cook in the preparation of food as needed.
- Arrange tables for meals in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
- Distribute dishes, cutlery and food to pupils.
- Serve meals in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Clean eating areas before and after meals.
- Wash dishes and utensils according to sanitary practices.
- Remove kitchen rubbish to outside allocated rubbish area.
Requirements of a Kitchen Assistant:
- Previous Kitchen experience is preferred.
- Reliable and hard working.
- Ability to work within a team.
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8.00am - 2.30pm.
Salary: £8.21/hr Weekly pay.
