Charity Administrative Assistant

The Sussex Masonic Centre, on Queens Road Brighton, is home to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex. This incredible organisation raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for local non-masonic charities every year and in 2017 raised over 3 million pounds as part of a special fundraising appeal.

We are now looking to recruit a Charity Administrative Assistant

30 hours per week- 5 days per week

Gross annual salary will be £17,317.09. This is based on the standard working week of Monday to Friday 30 hours and represents £1,443.9 per calendar month.

Based in our Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex headquarters at 25 Queens Road, Brighton you will be part of the Sussex Masonic Charities providing specific duties including handling telephone enquiries, inputting information on to our computer systems, record and reconciling charitable donations received and keeping a range of paper based records up-to date together with administration support to our Team of Volunteers.

This produces a busy and interesting workload; you will need to manage your time and individual caseload effectively. You will also require an organised yet flexible approach to work, with attention to detail whilst handling multiple tasks.

It is essential that you have excellent keyboard and computer skills also have the confidence to deal courteously and efficiently with all telephone enquires in a sympathetic and competent manner.
