The Role - Electronics Repair Technician

Following expansion, my client seeks to recruit a highly motivated Electronics Repair Technician, responsible for repairing a range of innovative automatic barriers, fare collection and ticketing equipment.

Your Background - Electronics Repair Technician

To apply you should have experience in a field service or technical support role, working on electronics or PC-controlled capital equipment. Ideally you will have a technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 224, ONC or HNC in Electronic / Electrical Engineering.

You should have strong board level electronics fault finding and service skills and good PC hardware knowledge. Any experience of repairing car parking, ticketing or fare automation systems or automatic doors would be beneficial.

Alternatively you may have worked on a wide range of capital equipment including: ATM, gaming, vending, office equipment or PCs. Any exposure to coin-operated mechanisms, note validators, ticketing machines, payment machines, automatic barriers or gates would also be beneficial. Applications are also welcomed from individuals from ex-forces backgrounds.
