Where do you see yourself in a three years time?
Every now and then something will come along that you should really take notice off. Not necessarily about what it can give you right now, but what it can do for your future.
This is one of those times.
So answer me this. As an experienced fire alarm small works engineer, which of the following more important to you? Money, personal development, product training, certifications, responsibility or being part of a cohesive team?
This position will give you all of these things. Interested? Read on.
Due to a couple of internal promotions, the company I am working with are looking for a new but experienced fire alarm small works engineer to attend sites in London, Greater London & the South East.
You should be really strong on fault finding and trouble shooting. Being able to first fix an issue is of paramount importance to these guys, along with the kind of mentality that means you take ownership for the things you see and touch. Someone with the "it's not my job" kind of attitude won't last very long.
And if for whatever reason you cannot fix a problem, and there is no alternative than to go down the extra works route, then they ask that you can generate an accurate quote in order to put the works right.
Btw, you earn commission on all sales that you generate, whether that's remedial works, upgrades or new works. And the commission rate is staggering.
Please note: This is very important; they are not looking for you to simply quote and replace. The complete opposite in fact. The commission structure is there to save on the sales guys having to attend sites to carry out surveys, estimates etc when there are additional works required.
Pretty straightforward right?
What you will receive for joining
* Basic Upto £35,000 depending on you and your experience (Negotiable)
* 25 days paid holiday, plus bank holidays
* Use of company vehicle (potentially a choice between car and van)
* Flat weeks rate for being on the call out rota (not compulsory, but would prefer it)
* Very generous commission scheme for extra works (10% In Hours/30% Out of Hours)
* Product Training and Personal Development
* Tailored career progression plan
* All the usual tools, laptop, phone etc
I suppose at this point you really would like to know about the company. What, and ruin the surprise?
What I can tell you is that these guys have been around since the late 90's and have grown to become one of the most well known, and highly established fire protection companies in the South East.
Not long ago they were acquired by one of the most exciting fire and security organisations on the planet. In my opinion anyway. And now form part of a group of companies whose aim is to be one of the most recognised, and highly regarded companies in Europe.
That's when things will get really interesting for you.
Interested?
Give me a call, send me a text or WhatsApp me on (phone number removed) or drop me an email and let's have a chat about it.
Don't worry about your CV, I don't need one at this stage, let's just get the ball rolling.
Please Note: I work with a number of companies throughout the UK. If this one doesn't fit with what you are looking for, get in touch anyway as I am probably working on something that does.
If not I can help you find something.
