We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is willing to learn in a small team and is passionate about food.

The role will involve us training them in food preparation from peeling vegetables, making sauces, different cuts of meat, and eventually getting involved with our special’s menu.

Receiving of deliveries and making sure they are good in quality and learning Rotation of stock and labelling of food.

Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring work surfaces are properly sanitised

Plating and presenting of meals.

We are a dog friendly village pub in Mayfield which is very supported by our locals. We took over the Rose and Crown in November 2018. All our employees are friendly and all get on very well with one another which makes the pub a pleasant atmosphere to work. We do expect hard work, passion and commitment within our team.

We have a variety of different customers that come in to our pub from our local drinkers, diners and senior citizens.

We have many things going on including weekly bands, Open mic and Theme nights. There is a function room which we use for parties, funeral’s, meetings and any other occasions.
