Based at the Central Campus, Brighton
We are seeking to appoint a Laundry Operative to provide an efficient laundry service to the Curriculum Areas at our Brighton Central, Pelham Street Campus.
Duties include ensuring that laundry equipment is maintained and operating efficiently, complying with all statutory and College Health and Safety requirements and assisting other members of the Estates Team as needed. This is a physically demanding role for which candidates must have the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner and good customer care skills. Ideally, they will have previous experience of laundry machines, small ironing press and their operation and general needlework skills for minor repairs
The post holder will be required to be flexible in regards to their hours of work on occasion in order to meet the needs within the department.
Interviews will be held during week commencing 9 December 2019
