A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join a small independent letting agency in Hove.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person to work as a part-time Property Administrator in a varied role. The ideal candidate should be:

  • Highly organised
  • Have great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • IT literate
  • Good customer service background
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Able to handle and resolve difficult and sensitive issues
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Have a clean driving license, car owner and be prepared to travel

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil responsibilities including:

  • Assisting in the day to day management of a portfolio of properties including dealing with check-in queries, Landlord and Tenant enquiries, renewals, rent arrears and deposit returns.
  • Drafting tenancy agreements and other documentation
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Tenants and Landlords
  • Coordinate and carry out property inspections periodically
  • Qualifying applicants and booking in viewings and appointments
  • Identifying and verifying maintenance issues
  • Ensuring that utilities and Council Tax are dealt with quickly and effectively
  • Data Management
  • Arranging gas safety checks, electrics and ensuring compliance of all legislation
  • General office administration
  • Occasional viewings
  • Other duties from time to time as required

Hours Flexible but ideally 20 hours per week.
