An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead on dysfluency as part of our friendly and dynamic Community Speech and Language Therapy service. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, highly specialist clinical service for fluency disorders. You will have experience of service development and quality improvement, and use these skills to embed clear and effective pathways for the referral and management of this client group across Sussex. You will act as a highly specialist resource on dysfluency for the Adult Speech and Language Therapy teams and will provide clinical support and supervision for junior colleagues as well as relevant training in the management of dysfluency for the service as a whole.

The Community Adult Speech and Language Therapy service consists of teams based in Brighton, Crawley, Worthing, Bognor Regis and Uckfield. We seek to provide a high quality, responsive and evidence-based service and we actively encourage personal and professional development of clinical, analytical, research and leadership skills. This is an exciting time to join the service as we are planning new and innovative ways to deliver our services. You will work across all teams and so the base for this post is negotiable. It is essential that you are a driver and have use of your own car.
