Location:              Opportunities at both Brighton and Worthing Campuses

Full-Time - 37 hours per week, based at Worthing or Brighton Campuses (or will take applications from candidates wanting to work part-time)

GB Met College is offering opportunities to deliver a high quality teaching experience for students aged 16 to 19 at our Brighton and Worthing Campuses. We are also looking for lecturers to teach small groups of apprentices.

We are looking for Lecturers with passion, enthusiasm and flair to join our forward thinking and dynamic team.

For many learners, the opportunity to secure their grade through Further Education presents a valuable second chance and therefore we are looking for Lecturers with the ability to motivate learners with a grade 3/D to achieve their goals.

Investment in staff is key to our success and GB Met offers a wide range of internal and external training opportunities to help you develop your skills within an FE setting. As one of the national DfE Maths Centres for Excellence, GB Met is receiving additional funding which is being used to carry out research and student interventions, create smaller class sizes, and provide high quality CPD opportunities for all maths staff.

You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one).  You also require experience of teaching Maths Functional Skills and /or GCSE and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
