Job Type: 18 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to be based at our Eastbourne campus within the Foundation Learning department. Our entry provision is a bespoke provision for young adults who have special educational needs and provides a wide-ranging curriculum promoting independence and life skills alongside maths and English.

The post holder will support students to achieve within the teaching and learning environment, both practical and classroom based, and during break times, to encourage them to develop independent learning skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the SEND Coordinator and curriculum teams to ensure the provision meets needs identified within the EHCP or SEN Support plan.

Applicants will need to have knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and experience of supporting young people with a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities”.
