Job Details
People Administration Apprentice
The People Administration Apprentice will provide administrative support to the People team across the BIMM group. This will include a range of clerical activities including document production, data entry, email monitoring and reporting to name a few.
- Working week Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break
Total hours per week: 37.50 - Expected duration 18 months
- Possible start date 11 Jan 2021
- Apprenticeship level Advanced
Level 3 (A level)
The People Administration Apprentice will provide administrative support to the People Team in the following areas:
Recruitment and On boarding
- Collating job information
- Placing advertisements
- Scheduling interviews
- Liaising with candidates
- Processing pre-employment checks
Training and Development
- Create staff accounts with chosen training providers
- Monitor and record training completion
- Support with induction, probation and review processes
People System
- Adding information and documentation to the Central people system
- Posting staff news and announcements
- Providing information and reports as requested
General Administration
- Creating contracts, letters, and documents
- Project administration as required

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.
The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university degrees.
