Knowledge Transfer Partnerships 

This is a grant-funded scheme which enables companies to access resources and expertise they need to innovate, grow and improve their performance.

KTP enables a highly skilled graduate, known as an Associate, to be employed by the university to work full-time in your company leading a strategic project, with the support of an academic team with expertise relating to the project.  

Projects last between 6 months and 3 years; up to 67% of the project costs are provided by the Technology Strategy Board or another government sponsor.

Train to be a teacher at the University of Brighton

The average starting salary in teaching is high compared to the average graduate starting salary. It goes up quickly too, with teachers seeing their salaries rise by an average of 30 per cent after their first four years in the job. There are also a number of ways teachers can progress in their careers, either within the classroom or in a leadership role.
