Job Details

Full time – 37 hours per week (full year)

Based mainly at Central Campus, Brighton but will also work cross College, as required

We are seeking to appoint a Careers Education, Information and Guidance Adviser to work with the Careers and Employability Manager to implement the College’s strategic aims by providing a professional and coherent careers service provision.  You will be acting as an internal advisor to curriculum staff to ensure a collaborative careers provision and to support understanding and achievement of Gatsby Benchmark expectations.  Your duties will also include leading on a range of Careers engagement projects which support the College’s strategic aims and providing a professional one to one Careers Guidance service to support students’ career planning.

You will require a good standard of education to minimum Level 3 and a Diploma in Careers Guidance or other relevant specialist careers qualification at Level 6 is essential. You will also have a wide range of experience delivering Careers IAG in a post 16 education environment with experience and knowledge of providing targeted 1:1 and group Careers IAG.
