Administrator - Commercial
Part time, 18.5 hours per week, fixed term until 31 July 2021
Based at Broadwater Campus, Worthing and Central Campus Brighton
This diverse role requires an organised, efficient, and flexible administrator who is both process and customer focused, and able to produce work to a very high standard and to tight deadlines. Providing comprehensive administrative support for the full scope of curriculum including Programmes for the Unemployed, full cost Commercial Courses and Adult Community Learning.
The post holder will be an experienced and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for providing course delivery support to tutors and providing highly effective and efficient administration, liaising with support organisations across the county and meeting and promoting a variety of college courses.
The post holder will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, be extremely flexible, and importantly produce work of a very high standard to tight deadlines. The post holder will have excellent administration and organisation skills plus high-level written and verbal communication skills. Excellent IT skills and a customer service focus is essential, as is the ability to work on own initiative and be proactive and positive.
The post holder will need to possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office e.g. Outlook, Excel, and Word skills and excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
The role requires delivering a very high level of customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders, together with the ability to manage enquiries, work collaboratively with other College departments and communicate effectively. Attendance at College recruitment and marketing events will also be required and this may involve some evening and weekend work.
