LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (Fixed term, part-time, term time only)

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the college’s Additional Learning Support Department. You will be required to support students in a range of subjects at A level or BTEC Level 3, as well as some students who are resitting their Maths or English GCSE.

This is a fixed term position (maternity cover) until March 2022 or the return of the current post holder, if earlier. This is a part-time post, working 14 hours a week, and 39 weeks per year during term time only. The normal working hours will be 7 hours per day on Tuesdays and Fridays, but this is negotiable.

The pro rata salary for this post is £8,093 per annum, which includes 4.7 weeks of holiday pay. This is based on spine point 15 within grade 5 of the support staff pay spine for which the current full time salary is £25,452 per annum.
