Are you currently an experienced Band 5 Nurse looking to develop your clinical and operational skills, and thinking about a Band 6 role within a Community Nursing team? Or are you an existing Band 6 Nurse looking for new challenges?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Nursing team in Lewes for an experienced Registered Nurse looking to move from a Band 5 to Band 6 position, as well as those looking to undertake the Community Specialist Practitioner course and those who have previously completed the course.

We encourage applications from enthusiastic individuals looking for the opportunity to commence a development plan to support the transition into a Band 6 nursing role within the community nursing environment.

Applicants will need to have advanced nursing skills and knowledge. A prior understanding of community nursing is essential and a willingness to continue your professional development is key.

You will be required to manage a designated caseload, support and direct junior team members in all aspects of care delivery, and take a lead role in the day to day management of the team, including teaching and educational activities. In return you will receive one-to-one support, tailored to your developmental needs.

You will need to be a car driver and have access to a vehicle for work.
