Community Staff Nurse - 22.5 hours per week

We're looking to recruit a part time dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurse (RNA) who has a passion for delivering high quality care within a community setting. The team is based in Heathfield in East Sussex, and covers the Uckfield, Buxted and Newick areas, which is a nice mixture of rural settings and small towns.

The successful candidate will share responsibility for a caseload of patients, supported by a Case Manager, while also benefiting from the varied skills and experience the wider Community Nursing team have to offer. They will be required to work autonomously, but will have access to support where necessary to ensure quality care delivery.

Community nursing experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given. If you are newly qualified then nurse preceptorship will be offered and tailored to your needs, building the confidence, knowledge and skills you will need to work in the community. As a Trust we are committed to everyone's professional development, offering a wide range of programmes and study opportunities designed to expand your knowledge and skills, as well as facilitating opportunities for career development.

This is an ideal opportunity for RNAs who want to develop their clinical knowledge and practice within the community. You will need a valid driving licence and transport, although lease schemes are available for Trust staff.
