Mind in Brighton and Hove empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, West and East Sussex. Our Advocacy Services take action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.
We are seeking to appoint a part-time Community Advocate in West Sussex. You will be based in our Brighton office but will work within the south east coastal area of West Sussex.
Advocates are responsible for the provision of independent, professional mental health advocacy primarily within community settings across West Sussex. This post requires an understanding of advocacy, experience of managing a client case load, excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals, whilst retaining independence.
