Digital content

  • Responsible for daily activity on social media
  • To design and post content on our social media contents channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Prepare content (articles, blogs) and update text for our Martlets websites and email campaigns
  • Work with internal management teams across Martlets, Martlets Care and Trading to best reflect their work online
  • Asking for key information which enables them to promote services   
  • Support with the planning and execution of online advertising campaigns including across Google Ads and social media
  • Ensuring there is social media coverage across all areas on a regular basis
  • Ensuring income generation initiatives across digital channels including for fundraising, Martlets shops and Martlets Care
  • Monitor and review content from competitors

Data Management, Monitoring and Reporting Analytics

  • Review content which was received well and determining ways to improve and enhance engagement (quantity and quality) 
  • Supply information and data from our channels to inform a range of marketing reporting
  • Maintain a log of activity

Income Generation

  • Giving advice to managers and their teams how they use digital tools to promote fundraising opportunities
  • Finding alternative ways to coach managers and their teams on digital opportunities

Communications

  • Managing the communications inbox, which involves determining the correct form of action from each communication with the team and others outside of the team
  • Participate in an out-of-hours social media rota, to complete checking of the platforms over the weekend on call, ensuring issues are escalated in relation to reputation or concerns raised
  • To support the Marketing and Communications team with administrative tasks, including minute taking of team meetings and completion of the action log, following up of actions, keeping the consent form log up-to-date
  • Supporting the maintenance of team planning activity tools, to assist the day to day management of service
  • Weekly wage £270.00

     

  • Working week Monday to Friday, between 09:00am and 5:00pm with 30 minute lunch break. Working days and hours to be agreed with successful candidate

    • This apprenticeship is for a 21 month period, with a review towards the end of the apprenticeship

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.
