Business Administrator Apprentice
- Working week: 8.30 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 8.30 to 14.30 on Fridays, 37.5 hours per week

Torr Scientific are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice to help improve communication and the control of documentation between the Accounts, Purchasing and Shipping departments, and to provide administrative cover for the Customer Services department.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the following.
Ensuring that matching invoices are received and passed to accounts for all received goods and services, checking the details and highlighting discrepancies.
Offer administrative assistance to the purchasing and logistics team and provide cover for the customer service assistant, assuming her administrative role when she is on holiday.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in office administration to experience working in a busy office.

Requirements and prospects
I keen eye for detail and good communication skills, along with strong numeracy skills and computer literacy.
Enthusiasm to learn and a strong desire to support co-workers is essential.
Good GCSE results in English and maths GRADE C/4 and above are desirable.
Subject to business conditions, a permanent position at Torr Scientific Ltd could be available should the successful candidate impress during their apprenticeship.
