Job Details

Role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who is organised, full of creativity and genuinely passionate about marketing.

What will you do?

Email Marketing

  • Develop, manage and communicate internally the email marketing schedule
  • Create and design compelling email marketing campaigns
  • Create, send and manage campaigns for Love Local Jobs and Love Local Jobs Foundation
  • B2B Focusing – to drive job posts, enquiries and lead generation
  • Candidate Focusing – to drive audience, engagement and network development
  • Align the process around email marketing campaigns to ensure activity on all available digital channels is used to compliment messaging
  • News & Advice articles
  • Social Promos 
  • Banner Advertising
  • Website content, wording, pricing
  • Review and communicate campaign performance – best practice and recommendations
  • Refine email marketing campaign delivery to improve effectiveness
  • Update and manage contacts within MailChimp
  • Implement a strategy to increase subscribers and properly utilise/target with campaigns
  • Expand the use and monetisation of Job Target Emails (drives applications for job board)
  • Report leads and insights around business development opportunities to the team

Branding Content and Presentation

  • Create content for presentations, proposals and on-site & off-site branding materials
  • Brief to outsourced providers when required and quality check end products
  • Showcase partner/sponsor news in an impactful way to our audiences and networks

Social Media 

  • Create and update the social media strategy, channel plan, objectives and deliverables
  • Align social media activity with other digital marketing
  • Plan, manage and respond to daily, weekly, monthly activity
  • Prioritise the management of existing channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook
  • Create and post compelling social media posts to:-
  • Promote products, services and foundation programmes
  • Strengthen brand and awareness of LLJ, LLJF, LLTS 
  • Amplify positive messaging on behalf of our partners, sponsors and clients
  • Drive job board traffic, database growth, new social audiences, applications rates
  • To work with team to obtain necessary partner/sponsor/client promotional collateral
  • News, Advice, Banners, logos, quotes, artwork
  • Drive engagement around posts with partners/sponsors/clients/candidates
  • Identify new content, trends and opportunities. E.g. National Careers Week
  • Explore development into new channels based on business ROI
  • Schedule posts using Hootsuite or similar tools
  • Foster team development re use of social media and personal brand building

PR

  • Create content and coordinate delivery of press releases where required
  • Utilise all internal channels – news, eMarketing, social, banners, website content
  • Distribute to our local PR network
  • Identify appropriate new PR network opportunities

Analytics

  • Usage of the following systems to understand marketing impact and opportunities: -
  • Google Analytics
  • Madgex Insights
  • Mailchimp
  • Google DFP
  • Social Media Analysis
  • Make data driven decision regarding campaign deliveries and refinements
  • Collate and present headline analytics to senior management on a monthly basis

Website

  • Ensure the LoveLocalJobs.com and Love Local Jobs Foundation websites and marketing material is up to date and produced in a timely manner, understanding that this may take priority at times
  • Foundation and LLJ Website Maintenance – adding & editing pages, removing pages, posting news articles, sponsor logos, artwork, photos, banners etc, adding jobs
  • Maintain news and advice articles ensuring this is refreshed regularly
  • Use SEO best practice in content deployment wherever possible
  • Manage on-site banners, lightbox, and partner promos
  • Publish Fresh Hot Job content on homepage (alongside associated email campaigns)
  • Manage backfill and aggregator relationships - measure and maintain effective content

Ideally you will have skills and experience in the following areas: -

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification for Marketing/related field
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a mid-senior digital marketing or advertising position
  • Experience of implementing digital marketing schedules and strategies
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering effective email marketing campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Ability to use Google Analytics to monitor trends, interpret data and create reports
  • Creativity and the ability to deliver emotive and impactful content / copy
  • Adobe InDesign, Canva, Photoshop or equivalent skills
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Writing and optimising content for the website and social networking accounts
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with external suppliers around the delivery of a marketing plan
  • Experience of liaising directly with clients
