We are friendly, professional and passionate about hair!

Our salon provides a wide range of classic and contemporary hairstyling services to ladies, gents and children, provided by a creative team whose experience in hairdressing ranges from a minimum of 8 years fully qualified experience to 35 years!!

Our male stylists are all London trained and specialise in all cutting techniques-whilst our female stylists offer fantastic cutting and incredible colouring combinations, all this coupled together with a genuinely friendly professional service from all of our staff. - we believe in treating our clients the way we wish to be treated

East Sussex College will provide the apprenticeship framework which will include Diploma, Functional Skills

Edge offers a full complement of all contemporary and classic hairstyling techniques.

The successful applicant will have a varied role, learning all aspects of the salon and duties will include:

• Reception – greeting customers as they arrive, answering the

            ‘phone, taking bookings

• Washing and shampooing hair
• Perming
• Cutting techniques
• Dry cuts
• Blow drys
• Barbering
• Colouring techniques – foils, balayage, ombre, tonal colouring
• Line work
• Permanent waves
• Wedding hair
• Extensions
• Cash handling
• Stock control
• Promotions
• Relevant admin

East Sussex College are the Training Provider for this Apprenticeship
