We will be interviewing throughout the advertisement period so the role is likely to start earlier than the closing date.

Rex are recruiting for a Business Administration Apprentice. The key tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Office administration; Answering telephone, passing on messages, dealing with enquiries from customers, undertake administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, handling mail, maintaining filing systems, archives and updating information
  • Use Microsoft such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Minute, produce, and distribute accurate records of meetings.
  • Provide administrative and support to the team as required.
  • Be involved in the vehicle arriving/departing process
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of the structure of workplace and the different areas of the vehicle conversion process.
  • Monitor social media platforms and keep them updated with regular postings, photos, new products/conversions where necessary.
  • Manage projects (e.g. creating engaging content for blog posts, case studies, testimonials, newsletters, reviews for Company website)
  • Assist with website development
  • Assist with all aspects of customer service including customer feedback
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Be involved in purchasing.
  • Be involved in accurately input data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Produce correspondence and documents when necessary

  • Maintain basic housekeeping.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Computer literate (including Microsoft office)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms e.g. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and business software systems 
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good administration and organisational skills.
  • Able to create content.

Due to the location of the business own transport would be required.

Training

Training provider: EAST SUSSEX COLLEGE GROUP

Training to be provided

  • Apprenticeship Certificate (Pass or Distinction)
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (optional)
  • Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grade A-C or level 9-4) unless exempt.

Apprenticeship standard: Business Administrator.
