Job Details
Senior Administrator
Day to day duties include active management of our quality accreditations and office facilities as well as provide administrative and secretarial support across Engineering project teams and the company as a whole.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Undertaking transcription/audiotyping, proofreading and formatting for letters/reports and other ‘pooled admin tasks’ for Engineering teams as required. Ensuring all typed work conforms to HOP templates and standards
- Working with the Quality Director and department leads to manage the BSI ISO 9001 and 14001 quality processes, audits and HOPs quality manual
- Manage office facilities; coordinating office repairs etc
- Collating Director programming; time charge expenditure analysis of projects
- Providing cover for other members of the administrative/secretarial team including reception duties, meeting and greeting clients and other visitors
Additional duties:
- Undertaking general admin duties
- Assisting in organising items for upkeep of office facilities
- Managing inhouse and offsite archiving
Skills and abilities:
- Good spoken and written English
- Good numerical skills and competent in Excel
- Must be adept in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word
- Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail, letter, telephone and verbally
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
Experience:
- Previous experience in an admin support role; transcribing/document production and proofreading
- Experience in a client facing role
- Previous experience in a role supporting and collating audit trail examples of information for quality bids and accreditation; such as BSI ISO and other industry required accreditations desirable
- Office management experience advantageous
- Numerate with finance experience being beneficial
- Experience using Adobe suite advantageous
