Vacancy description
The employer will be interviewing throughout the advertisement period so the apprenticeship could start before the closing date.
Some of the key tasks, include, but are not limited to:
- Follow agreed tasks and deadlines with your Line Manager
- Provide a customised service experience responding to customer’s individuals needs
- Present a professional image of the company at all times
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with the internal team and for customers
- Make initial customer contact
- Build a good rapport with customers
- Take on board feedback to grow and develop
- Dealing with customers on the phone
- Managing administration systems
- Learning about company specific products and services on offer
- Meetings with your assessor
- Taking messages to pass onto other team members.

Desired qualifications
Ideally the successful applicant will have GCSEs in maths and English, at grades C or above, or 4 and above or equivalent.
Future prospects
Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level. There may be the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship.

This will be an office-based role.

Training provider: EAST SUSSEX COLLEGE GROUP
Training to be provided
20% of your contracted working hours will be spent doing something called off-the-job training. Off-the-job training is any training that relates to your learning a new skill for instance a staff induction, being mentored, shadowing, completing written assignments, meetings with your assessor, mock assessments and so on.
- Apprenticeship Certificate (Pass or Distinction)
- Customer Service Level 2 Diploma (optional)
- Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade D-E or level 3-2) unless exempt.
Apprenticeship standard: Customer service practitioner.
