We are pleased to be recruiting for a CNC Machinist for our well established client who are leaders in their field. This is a permanent position;
Machinist
* To select and produce pumps and gearboxes to specification, according to current processes and procedures, in order to meet production schedules.
* To operate manual machines and CNC Milling machines/machining centres.
* To consistently produce quality components according to current processes and procedures, in order to meet production schedules.
* To contribute to on-going improvement of Company operations.
Machines;
Matsuura Horizonal Milling Machining Centres.
Key tasks for position holder:
Quality machining: To produce components within required specification following the relevant processes and standard operating procedures.
Quality assembly: To build pumps in a timely manner to within specification following the relevant pump build processes and standard operating procedures.
Non- Conforming items: To identify non-conformance items and to follow the Non-Conformance Process.
Improvements: To identify quality improvement opportunities, and to contribute to their implementation where appropriate.
Planning: To schedule work priorities to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
Teamwork: To liaise with the team to organise work in a way that maximises quality and efficiency.
Health & Safety: To follow Company Health & Safety procedures and to take action to remove potentially unsafe working practices.
Holiday: 33 days per annum
Pension: Group Personal Pension Plan
Company sick pay: After qualifying periods
Hours
Week 1 early - Mon - Thur - 6am - 2pm - Fri 6am - 1.10pm
Week 2 Late - Mon - Thur - 1.45pm to 10pm - Fri 12.55pm - 7.05pm
Salary; £26536 + 20% shift allowance.
Location; Eastbourne
