In a nutshell

As an Analyst – Network & Partnership Strategy, you will be integral to Virgin Atlantic’s long term fleet, network and partnership strategy and our how we achieve sustainable long-term profitability. You will provide data driven support to various areas of Virgin Atlantic and play a crucial role in our exciting future!

Day to day

- Plan our long-term fleet, network and partnership strategy to achieve sustainable long-term profitability
- Build and update our 5 year network plan identifying partnership synergy opportunities supporting our growth
- Analyse route/network opportunities and recommendations in business cases, cooperating with primarily Finance and Commercial departments
- Support commercial analysis for high value projects and programmes (e.g. fleet campaigns, Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Competition Analysis)
- Support recommendations through FlyRed Strategic Fleet & Network working group, supporting Steering Group delivery

About you

Are you an experienced Analyst with experience in the aviation sector, with the ability to convey your ideas and findings to others based on data and evidence? If so, we think you would love this role!

- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with a keen understanding of commercial aviation.
- Experience in an analytical or commercial function or education in a related discipline essential
- Ability to solve problems through the application of logical thought
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel essential. Experience with analytical tools including QSI would be highly advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough approach to accurate task completion
- Good communicating & influencing skills. Experience of PowerPoint necessary.
