Customer Service Apprentice

Skinners of Rye, based in Rye, are recruiting for a Customer Service Apprentice. The successful apprentice will work on the reception assisting customers alongside the Bodyshop Controller and Body Shop Reception, complete data entry, undertake administration and so on.

Weekly wage £172.00

Working week Monday-Friday

Total hours per week: 40.00

Expected duration 36 months

Some of the key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Working with Body Shop Controller on Body Shop Reception
• Assisting with booking customers in for Accident Repairs
• Customer progress reporting
• Assisting with final vehicle handover process
• Assisting BS controller with Parts ordering and processing
• Data entry on BS Data Management System
• Learning all areas of Body Shop admin control
• Assisting Estimator with Damage repair estimating Process
• Good level of computer and literacy skills
• Development of communication skills and customer awareness

Desired qualifications

• There are no essential qualifications for this apprenticeship, instead we are looking for an apprentice with a ‘can do’ attitude. There will however be an initial assessment in maths and English before you start the apprenticeship to check your current working level

About the employer

We are an insurance approved body repair shop, working on a variety of vehicle manufactures. We also take part in vehicle restoration and modification. Our work is to a high standard, using the latest equipment in a modern workshop.
