Children's Nurse - 37.5 hours per week

Are you looking for something new?

We are looking for an experienced Children's Nurse to join the team at Chailey Clinical Services (CCS) working across the various services at CCS.

CCS works in close partnership with Chailey Heritage Foundation (CHF) providing nursing support to children, young adults and their families.

CCS provide care and support unlike any other service in the south east of England, putting the child/young person at the centre of everything we do and working with the multidisciplinary team based within CCS on a daily basis. This is the perfect opportunity for you to develop experience in managing nursing care of children/young adults with complex healthcare needs, with the opportunity to increase your clinical skills in a wide variety of areas including enteral feeding, LTV, catheterisation and complex seizure management.

The post holder will play a key role in delivering specialist nursing care to the young people in their care, accessing a variety of services across SCFT including Finches Short Breaks and the Residential School Nursing Team (RSNT) within CHF. The role requires shift working including weekends with rotation to night duty as well.

Free on-site parking available. SCFT is a learning organisation that actively encourages personal development and will support you to obtain further qualifications.

You will be supported by the Clinical Lead Nurses, Team Leads and Practice Development Nurses throughout the rotation period to develop necessary skills and competencies.
