Academic Coach - Maths Specialist
What is the purpose of the job?
Bexhill Academy are looking to recruit exceptional, dynamic and inspiring Academic Coach with excellent subject knowledge to support our students, predominantly in catching up with the gaps that the recent school closures have caused in their learning.
This post would particularly suit individuals who have recently completed A-level’s and are perhaps taking a gap year or have recently completed their university course and would like a new challenge.
Perhaps you are considering a career in teaching and would like to gain some experience working with young people or would like to improve your soft skills, if so this could be a brilliant opportunity for you.
We aim to recruit staff who:

- Have excellent subject knowledge.
- Are able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
- Will subscribe to the ethos of the Academy and be committed to get the very best from our students.

In addition to this tremendously good news I can also report that the school has been allocated £6million to make the changes to our building design. The funding will enable us to return to traditional individual classrooms moving away from the open plan PODs that are a current feature of the school. We will also be able to create 7 new Science Labs, new Food Technology, Computer Science rooms and a much needed Library.
