Caretaker / Assistant Site Manager
Westdene is an inclusive and popular primary school situated to the north of the city.
The school is seeking to appoint a well organised, efficient Assistant Site Manager to join our school to provide assistance around the school - this is a Facilities Support Level C role.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive and able to resolve facility issues, as well as having strong organisational skills.
Duties will include:
being the first point of contact for matters regarding buildings, grounds, security and maintenance of the site
supporting parents/carers on and off the site and general cleaning duties as required.
Good administration skills are also key to support the Business Manager in ensuring that Health & Safety duties and documentation are observed and up to date.
It is preferable that the successful applicant will have a good range of skills and experience including a good level of building maintenance, ideally gained in a similar environment, together with general DIY skills for hands on repairs and maintenance.
