Finance Manager - Part Time

Salary and hours:

This is a part time role, working 25 hours per week
up to £45k pro rata


Our head office is located in a newly renovated building on Brighton seafront, directly opposite the pier.

Whilst we run a hybrid working policy, this role would require a minimum of two days within the office per week.

The role of the Finance Manager

To support the business ensuring that all financial commitments are accounted for.  Responsible for various financial activities and maintaining a high level of quality control in the finance department .

As a Finance Manager you will report directly to the Finance Director and your key responsibility is to support the Finance Department in the day to day running of the office ensuring we can support the business with all its financial needs!

  • Managing finance team members in UK
  • Working closely with offshore finance team
  • Maintaining aged debt control
  • Taking ownership of budgeting process
  • Supervising and assisting with annual audit process
  • Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in production of month end management reports
  • Providing divisional level analysis on management accounts
  • Supporting Payroll Specialist – input and process UK payroll for approx 200 employees, set up new employees, process leavers ,starters, bonus, commission etc.  Set up new employees to ensure access to online portal.  Continuously maintaining information to ensure correct and up to date.
  • Processing bank payments
  • Assist with company secretarial duties
  • Responsible for various compliance & statutory tasks
  • Producing annual R&D claim
  • Liaise with international accountants on various tasks
  • Review and approval head of journals
  • Review all monthly expenses in detail and provide commentary
  • Production of various reports in netsuite and outside

  • Possess advanced Excel skills and practical knowledge of integrated financial systems (for example, Sage & Netsuite)
