Job Details
Four posts available: 2 x 18 hours per week over 4 days and 2 x 18 hours per week over 3 days.
Term time only/Fixed term contracts until July 2022.
£18,391 to £19,767 p.a. pro rata.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to be based at our Eastbourne campus within the Inclusive Learning department. Our Entry/Level1 provision is a bespoke provision for young adults who have special educational needs and provides a wide ranging curriculum promoting independence and life skills alongside Maths and English.
The post holder will support students to achieve within the teaching and learning environment, both practical and classroom based, and during break times, to encourage them to develop independent learning skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the SEND Coordinator and curriculum teams to ensure the provision meets needs identified within the EHCP or SEN Support plan.
Applicants will need to have knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and experience of supporting young people with a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities.
These posts are subject to a DBS check.
