Team Leader
Team Leader needed for learning disability services in Eastbourne, hourly rate £11.60. (This is a permanent, fulltime role).
My client is a charity supporting adults with learning and complex needs. They provide services ranging from residential to community including working with clients in their own homes.
This role is for one of their residential services. As the Team Leader you will support the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the service.
Your role will include shift work (between the hours of 7.30am to 2.30pm / 2pm - 8pm) with 2 of your days for admin only (9-5 working hours).
The Role;
As a Team Leader you will;
Lead the shift and deputise in the absence of the Manager.
Support clients with all aspects of daily living including personal care, emotional needs, and social interaction.
Complete daily reports including care planning and risk assessments.
Mentor and support the staff team.
Engage the clients in various activities.The Candidate;
To be considered for the Senior Support Worker role you will need;
Experience working within a learning disability service.
The NVQ 3 Health & Social Care (adults).
Compassion and a caring attitude.
Flexibility and commitment to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
