Lecturer - Games Development
29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (0.8 FTE)
We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer to join the team delivering programming units on the Games Development UAL Level 1, 2 and 3 courses.
Your main responsibilities will be course delivery, design and preparation, including the provision of schemes of work and individual learning plans and carrying out course evaluation and self-assessment. You will be student focused, team-orientated and flexible with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills.
You should have a passion for games and game development and have knowledge of C# in Unity and C++ in Unreal Engine 4 and a general understanding of Games maker Studio – with demonstrable experience of working within Unity or UE4 in either a professional or academic capacity.
You also need to hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to attain a teaching qualification within 2 years of your start date. We will also accept applications from practitioners wishing to work sessional/part-time or job share hours. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can stimulate, inspire and support students at all levels to achieve.
