We are seeking to appoint an HE Development & Compliance Officer to work with the Director of Curriculum Development to deliver an exceptional HE student experience; ensuring teaching, learning and assessment is of a consistently high standard and that students achieve, succeed, progress and gain sustainable employment.
You will contribute to a review of the HE offer across GBMet establishing a compelling vision for HE provision that considers the requirements of employers, the Greater Brighton region and students and creates a coherent, attractive and high quality HE offer with clear progression from Level 3 provision in the College.
You will also be ensuring compliance with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and Office for Students (OfS) requirements, preparing for and contributing to the QAA inspection process and also improving the College Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) rating.
You should be educated to degree level and hold a recognised teaching qualification with evidence of continuing professional development.
You will require a proven track record in driving transformational quality improvement in teaching, learning and assessment in the HE sector - with experience of working with validating partners and regulatory Frameworks. Also experience of supporting innovative, inspirational, entrepreneurial and student-centered HE curriculum development.
You should be able to show experience of implementing robust HE quality assurance processes. With further experience of effectively supporting and developing staff to realise their full potential within an environment of change.
