Are you are looking to work within an enthusiastic Physiotherapy department, delivering the best patient care in musculoskeletal rehabilitation? Then join our team!

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant who is reliable, flexible and compassionate to work as part of our Physiotherapy Outpatient team at St. Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Working for our organisation

As part of this role, you will predominantly be working in our Physiotherapy department and gym, supported by Physiotherapy colleagues to treat patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

This position offers:
  • Monthly departmental teaching sessions
  • Monthly supervision sessions to guide personal and professional development
  • Capacity to participate in service development projects
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners

This position is for 15.5 hours per week and will currently be on Mondays and Tuesdays. Your working days may change as department circumstances evolve.

Person specification

Qualification
Essential criteria
  • NVQ3 or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English


Experience
Essential criteria
  • At least 12 months working in a caring or rehabiliation environement


Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a therapy setting
