Production Operatives

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing and hardworking team in the Pulborough area.

Our client is one of the country’s biggest manufacturers of clay and concrete building products. Their products have become the first choice for building the homes, places and spaces for people across the UK.

The successful applicants will be members of a multi-functional production team striving to achieve key targets within the Production Department; delivering quality bricks efficiently and cost effectively.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Using machinery to cut bricks to the correct specifications
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Fully comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
• Active involvement in improving site safety

Essential Qualities & Experience:

• High degree of Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
• Reliability, flexibility, enthusiasm and the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• The ability to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlines
• Having Clipper Saw experience would be an advantage but not essential

Desirable Experience:

Experience of working within a Factory / Manufacturing environment
Excellent communicational skills

Candidates must have own transport due to location

Pay: £10.22 per hour

Shift pattern is 5 on 5 off for 3 weeks and 4 on 4 off for 1 week
